In January of 1996, Edward C. Jones met Timothous Mack and the two began dating. Timothous invited Edward to visit his church, Unity Fellowship Church NYC and Edward fell in love with the style of worship and decided to join the church, thus began his journey with the Unity Fellowship Church Movement under Sr. Bishop Zachary G. Jones.
While in membership at UFC NYC, Reverend Ed was a member of the Board of Trustees and of the Men’s Ministry. He also became UFC Brooklyn’s first webmaster.
Edward and Timothous realized that God had knitted their hearts and souls together so they were bonded in marriage on August 24, 1996 at UFC NYC. They were the first male couple to get married at Unity Fellowship Church NYC.

His work continues to be published in several countries around the world. He later began working for several law firms as a Database and Web Designer and later advancing to Litigation Support Database Specialist and then to IT Specialist which he held until January of 2015.
